SLOlab Petcha Kutcha

Yearly the SLOlab organizes a modified Petcha Kutcha night for grad students associated with the SLOlab.

Typically a petcha kutcha is a fast-paced presentation style where a speaker shows 20 slides for 20 seconds each for a total of 6m 33s. However ours gives the students 8 minutes each and no set amount of slides. The idea is that each student best represent their grad research.

In 2025 the evening was hosted at the Fields Institute for Research in Mathematical Sciences and in 2026 the evening was at the William Doo Auditorium at the University of Toronto.
